Notre Dame

Out of respect for Michigan, I’m going to leave Notre Dame unrated too.

The third day there we traveled to South Bend for comparison sake, and I got a chance to walk around Notre Dame’s campus. It was the day after New Year’s, so nothing was open but I got to walk around. It was easy to tell it was a beautiful campus, even with no leaves on the trees and the freezing temperature. When I say freezing, I genuinely mean it. You know that feeling where you can no longer feel your face, so you have no idea if you’re smiling or drooling? Yeah, that’s about how it felt. That and I think I lost a finger or two.

  1. heer, cheer for Old Notre Dame
Wake up the echoes cheering her name,
Send the volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky,
What though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons are marching
    Onward to Victory.

Having “respect for Michigan” is an oxymoron.
